A big welcome to all Members to a new and exciting Calendar year of Golf in 2024.

This year’s golfing calendar will have several changes with the Men’s and Ladies Match Committee aligning at lot of events together including the Men’s and Ladies Club Championships being played at the same time.

The first of the Board events for the year in Brady Paint & Texture Red Gum plate has commenced with the 32 pairs currently playing their first round matches up until Sunday 3rd February. Terry Brady has informed the club that he is retiring and this year’s sponsorship being his last. On behalf of all the Members and the Board of Directors we would like the thank Terry for his past sponsorship of this most prestige event.

The Men’s Riverina Golf Association Pennant season is due to start from February 18th with participating teams— Griffith, Yenda, Leeton, Narrandera, Junee, Ganmain, Coolman, The Rock, Wagga Country Club and Hillston.

The Match Committee are asking for expressions of interest from players that would like to playing in this year’s Pennant season. If you are interested please leave your names with Club Captain Marcus Blanch or Vice Captain Paul Connell.

Membership renewals for 2024 will be emailed out early February and Members have up until 31st March to pay their renewals. The club Annual General Meeting will be at a date to be determined but at this stage looking around April.

Members are to be reminded that you receive discounts on some products by using their Prize or Charge accounts when purchasing products. This discount does not apply for any Golf related expense.

The Griffith Pro Shop is having a huge clearance sale on ex Demo golf clubs from Taylormade Stealth Drivers and Irons and Callaway Paraydm Drivers and Irons as per attached page.

2 Fitting days are scheduled in February with Taylormade on Wednesday 7th February and Callaway on Friday 16th February as per attached flyers.

The B&C Plumbing Charity Pro Am will this year be held on Thursday 11th and Friday 12th April with sponsorships packages to be sent out early February.

The Rod McNabb Mobil 5’s social golf competition started from Monday 29th January with 27 teams and 4 Divisions.
